The secret box: the best moment
Everyone gets their own secret box with a snow globe inside. Tap it or shake your phone: the snow swirls, the name slip floats forward, you scratch it off – and a fountain pen writes the name. Nobody else sees who drew whom, not even the organiser.
To stop peeking, the box remembers the device that drew the name. On another device you need a four-digit code.
Wish lists, anonymous questions and fair draws
- Wish lists with interests to tap, “please no” and up to five wishes – only your Secret Santa sees them
- Anonymous questions both ways, like “tea or coffee?”
- If someone drops out after the draw, at most two people get a new name

Frequently asked questions
Does the organiser see who drew whom?
No. Everyone only sees their own match in their secret box. The overview only shows who has drawn, filled in a wish list or sorted their gift.
Can couples be excluded from drawing each other?
Yes. Exclusions work both ways, and groups let kids only draw kids. If it can’t work out, you see why before drawing.
What does it cost?
Nothing. No subscription and no ads in the emails. Gift ideas in German contain affiliate links to Amazon, which fund the free service.
